  1. 1 cup moong daal paste
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 2 tsp oil for uppam
  4. For gravy---
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. Pinch of hing
  7. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp jeera
  9. 7 curry leaves
  10. 1 green chilli chopped
  11. 1 onion chopped
  12. 2 cup buttermilk
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tsp haldi
  16. 2 tsp coriander powder
  17. 1 tsp garam masala
  18. 1/2 lemon juice
  19. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. ADD SALT IN DAAL PASTE AND HEAT UPPAM PAN ADD DAAL IN IT FILL 3/4 OF EACH
  2. ADD OIL AND MAKE UPPAM
  3. NOW HEAT OIL IN PAN
  4. ADD HING,JEERA AND MUSTARD SEEDS
  5. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND CHOPPED ONION
  6. SAUTE ONION
  7. ADD SPICES IN BUTTERMILK AND MIX THEM NICELY
  8. ADD GREEN CHILLI IN PAN
  9. NOW ADD THIS MIX IN PAN AND STIR IT
  10. WHEN GRAVY COOKED ADD UPPAM TO IT
  11. AND LET THEM COOK
  12. WHEN IT START LEAVING OIL IT IS READY
  13. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES
  14. SERVE HOT
  15. WITH CHAPATI OR RICE
  16. ENJOY THIS TRADITIONAL MOONG DAAL BARI RECIPE
