Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Lauki pieces 250 gm
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Besan 1/2 cup
  5. Chopped onion 1
  6. Chopped garlic 1 tbs
  7. Chopped mint-coriander leaves
  8. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  10. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  11. Garam Masala 1 .5tsp
  12. Kitchen king masala 1 tsp
  13. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1.5 tsp
  14. Oil 2 tbs
  15. Bayleaf 2
  16. Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  17. Whole red chilli 1

Instructions

  1. CUT THE LAUKI LIKE THIS & KEEP ASIDE
  2. ADD 1 TSP CHAAT MASALA IN 1/2 CUP BESAN
  3. 1 TSP GARAM MASALA
  4. SALT TO TASTE
  5. 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,MIX
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP DEGGI MIRCH & MIX
  7. NOW COAT THE LAUKI PIECES WITH THIS MIXTURE
  8. DRIZZLE SOME OIL IN A NON-STICK PAN
  9. PLACE THE PIECES
  10. DRIZZLE SOME OIL AGAIN & ROAST FOR 3-4 MINUTES ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  11. ADD 2-3 TSP OIL IN A KADHAI
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  13. ADD 2 BAY LEAVES & 1 WHOLE RED CHILLI
  14. ADD 1 TBS CHOPPED GARLIC
  15. ADD 1 MEDIUM CHOPPED ONION
  16. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER
  17. ADD 1 TSP KITCHEN KING MASALA,1.5 TSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI
  18. ADD 1 TSP DEGGI MIRCH & 1/2 CUP WATER
  19. ADD 1 CUP BEATEN CURD, STIR CONTINUE FOR 1 MINUTE
  20. ADD SALT TO TASTE & 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
  21. NOW ADD ROASTED LAUKI PIECES
  22. COVER & COOK FOR 1-2 MINUTES ON LOW HEAT
  23. ADD WATER ACCORDING TO YOUR CONSISTENCY & COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  24. IT'S DONE. ADD CHOPPED MINT - CORIANDER LEAVES
