ABOUT Lagan ni Seekh RECIPE

A very traditional Bhori appitizer which is slow cooked and is marinated overnight and cooked in a lagan(a vessel specially made for it)This can be eaten as it is or with Chapati as well

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton Kheema 500 gms
  2. ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  3. coriander powder 1 tbsp
  4. haldi 1 tsp
  5. eggs 4
  6. red chilli powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. TAKE 500 GRMS MUTTON MINCE & ADD 2TBSP Ginger garlic PASTE AND 2 TO 3 SLIT GREEN CHILLIES
  2. ADD 1TBSP EACH DHANIA,ZEERA PoWDeR & 1 TSP EACH RED CHILLIE & HALDI PoWDeR
  3. ADD 1 TSP GARAM MASALA PoWDeR & SALT
  4. MIX EVERYTHING WELL
  5. MARINATE OVERNIght
  6. FRY THE ONIONS TILL CRISPY GOLDEN
  7. ADD THE ONIONS TO THE MARINATED MINCE
  8. ADD HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER AND MINT LEAVES
  9. ADD 1 BREAD SLICED SOAKED IN WATER(SQUEEZE THE WATER B4 ADDING)
  10. MIX THE INGRIDENTS WITH YOUR HANDS FOR AT LEAST 10 MINS.THIS KNEADING MAKES THE SEEKH VERY SOFT
  11. MASH IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
  12. TAKE A LAGAN AND ADD OIL( U CAN USE A PAN,KADAI TOO)
  13. PUT THE MINCE
  14. FLATTEN THE MINCE
  15. TAKE 4 EGGS ADD RED CHILLIE, SALT AND PEPPER
  16. WHISK
  17. POUR THE EGGS ABOVE THE MINCE
  18. PLACE IT ON YOUR STOVE WITH 3 TO 4 STAND.WE NEED TO COOK THIS ON VERY SLOW FLAME
  19. COVER AND COOK FOR 30 MINS
  20. WHEN A KNIFE INSERTED COMES OUT CLEAN , IT'S READY
