A healthy simple and delicious halwa made with pumpkin ,dry fruits n ghee,on ocassion of diwali.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chopped pumpkin washed well
  2. 2 tblspn sugar
  3. 3-4 tspn pure ghee
  4. Few cardomom seeds
  5. Some chopped dry frits raisins ,cashews to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1CUP PUMPKIN PEELED PIECES,2TBLSPN SUGAR,MIXED CHOPPED DRYFRUITS,3-4TBLSPN PURE GHEE,CARDOMOM SEEDS
  2. PRESSURE COOK THE PUMPKIN TILL WELL DONE
  3. ON THE OTHER SIDE KEEP A DEEP PAN OR NON STICK KADAI,ADD 3TSPN GHEE
  4. FRY GOLDEN THE DRY FRUITS AND KEEP ASIDE
  5. OPEN PRESSURE COOKER LET STEAM OUT
  6. REMOVE COOKED PUMPKIN INTO A PLATE
  7. MASH COOKED PUMPKIN WELL
  8. ADD MASHED PUMPKIN IN THE GHEE
  9. AD 2TBLSPN SUGAR AND START MIXING WELL,TILL IT DISSOLVES
  10. BRING TO HALVA CONSISTENCY ADD CARDOMOM SEEDS,AND ALL FRIED DRYFRUITS
  11. MIX WELL
