  1. Gongura leaves 1 bunch
  2. Tuvr dal 1/2 cup
  3. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. onion 2
  5. garlic 6-8
  6. Green chillies 5-6
  7. salt
  8. To Temper
  9. oil
  10. mustard
  11. jeera
  12. Red chillies 2
  13. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP TUVR DAL FOR 30 MINUTES
  2. RINSE AND CLEAN 1 BUNCH GONGURA
  3. ADD 1-2 CUPS OF WATER IN PRESSURE COOKER. BOIL WATER
  4. ADD GONGURA LEAVES TO BOILING WATER
  5. GONGURA LEAVES WILL COOK IMMEDIATELY
  6. ADD 1/2 CUP TUVR DAL
  7. ADD 5-6 GREEN CHILLIES
  8. ADD 6-8 GARLIC AND 2 CHOPPED ONION
  9. ADD REQUIRED SALT
  10. MIX
  11. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER. MIX
  12. PRESSURE COOK FOR 5 WHISTLES. ALLOW PRESSURE TO SETTLE NATURALLY
  13. MASH DAL AND ADD TEMPERING
  14. SERVE WITH RICE
