ABOUT Beetroot Halwa RECIPE

Beetroot is of exceptional nutritional value;Beetroots are an excellent source of folic acid and a very good source of fibre, manganese and potassium. Here i used dry fruits,dates, jaggery and Beetroot and little ghee for making halwa.

  1. Grated beetroot - 1 & 1/2 cup
  2. jaggery - 1/4 cup
  3. dates - 10 (chopped dates 1/4 cup)
  4. Dry fruits - 1/4 cup
  5. ghee - 2 spoons
  6. water - 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS
  2. HEAT THE KADAI,AND ADD GHEE
  3. ADD DRY FRUITS AND LITTLE FRY
  4. TAKE OUT DRY FRUITS.
  5. ADD GRATED BEETROT AND LITTLE FRY.
  6. CLOSE THE LID & LEAVE 1 OR 2 MINUTES
  7. REMOVE THE LID & ADD 1/4 CUP OF WATER AND MIX NICELY.
  8. ADD JAGGERY AND MIX.
  9. ADD DATES & MIX AND CLOSE THE LID ,LEAVE FOR 1 OR 2 MINUTES
  10. REMOVE THE LID AND MIX NICELY.
  11. ADD DRY FRUITS AND MIX,SWICH OF THE STOVE.
  12. YUMMY BEETROOT HALWA IS READY.
  13. TASTY HALWA
