ABOUT Lemon Rice RECIPE

As named here I have used lemon juice with rice and horse gram dal gives it a crunchy taste you can enjoy this with papad chutneys and aachar

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked rice 1bowl
  2. Horse gram dal 2tsp
  3. Few curry leaves
  4. Green chilly chopped
  5. 1onion chopped
  6. Oil 1 tsp
  7. Cummin seeds
  8. Mustard seeds1tsp
  9. 1 Lemonjuice
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Fresh corriander

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP EACH OF CUMIN & MUSTARD SEEDS
  2. ADD A 10-12 CURRY LEAVES, 1 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI
  3. ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION, SAUTE UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
  4. ADD 2 TSP SOAKED BENGAL GRAM / CHANA DAL
  5. COVER & COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 2 MINS
  6. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & CORIANDER POWDERS, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC
  7. SAUTE FOR 30 SECONDS, COVER & COOK FOR 2 MINS
  8. ADD 2 CUPS OF COOKED RICE
  9. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 2 TBSP LEMON JUICE, MIX WELL
  10. GARNISH WITH 2 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, TAKE OFF HEAT
  11. SERVE HOT
