ABOUT Beetroot Oats laddoos RECIPE

Beetroot oats laddoos are really very easy dessert dish. Beetroot contains vitamin A, B6, C and also contains full of potassium, magnesium, iron, carbohydrates, protein and fiber. It also helps to reduce blood pressure and heart attack risk. For the diet purpose I used oats inspite of coconut powder. It's really an amazing dessert, loved all my family members.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ghee 1 tsp
  2. Beetroot 1/4 kg
  3. Dates 6
  4. Water to soak dates 1/4 cup
  5. Sugar 1/4 cup
  6. Cardamom crushed 1/2 tsp
  7. Oats powder 1/2 cup
  8. Oats powder 2 tsp for sprinkle or roll
  9. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TSP OF GHEE, ADD GRATED BEETROOT 1/4 KG
  2. FRY TILL TENDER
  3. ADD HALF AN HOUR SOAKED AND BLENDED 1/4 CUP OF DATES
  4. MIX IT PROPERLY
  5. ADD A PINCH OF SALT, SUGAR 1/4 CUP
  6. MIX PROPERLY TILL SUGAR COMPLETELY MELT AND MIX IN IT
  7. ADD CRUSHED CARDAMOM 1/2 TSP
  8. OATS POWDER 1/2 CUP
  9. MIX ALL PROPERLY IN LOW FLAME
  10. TAKE OFF THE FLAME AND ALLOW IT TO COOL IN ROOM TEMPERATURE
  11. MAKE SMALL LEMON SIZED BALLS OUT OF MIXTURE
  12. ROLL IT ON OATS POWDER AND KEEP ASIDE
  13. ROLL ALL IN OATS POWDER AND SERVE HEALTHY BEETROOT OATS LADDOOS
