Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200 gm chopped mushrooms
  2. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  3. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  4. 1 strand mace
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. For paste
  7. 5-6 garlic cloves
  8. 3/4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  9. 2 tbsp water
  10. 1/2 tsp sugar
  11. 4-5 dry red chillies
  12. 1/4 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  13. salt to taste
  14. coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS INTO A MIXER JAR, GRIND WITH 2 TBSP WATER TO MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE
  2. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 STRAND OF MACE, 1/4 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, SAUTE FOR 30 SECONDS
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  4. ADD THE READY MASALA PASTE, SAUTE WELL
  5. ADD 200 GMS CHOPPED MUSHROOMS, SAUTE FOR 3 MINS
  6. COVER & COOK ON LOW HEAT UNTIL SOFT
  7. GARNISH WITH A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, SERVE HOT
