Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. MILK 1/2 LITRE
  2. Mangoes 3-4
  3. Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  4. Coarsely powdered nuts 1 /4 cup
  5. rose essence 1 tbsp
  6. Crushed cardamom 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. BRING 500 ML MILK TO A BOIL, SIMMER FOR A COUPLE OF MINS
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP CONDENSED MILK, SIMMER UNTIL IT REDUCES TO 1/3 RD OF THE TOTAL VOLUME
  3. ADD 1/4 CUP CRUSHED NUTS, 1/2 CARDAMOM POWDER
  4. ADD 1 TSP ROSE WATER, STIR & CONTINUE TO SIMMER ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  5. COOK UNTIL THICK LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE TO COOL
  6. WASH, WIPE & SLICE A RIPE MANGO, SLICE OFF THE TOP
  7. CAREFULLY TWIST & PULL IT OUT, SCOOP OUT THE SKIN FROM INSIDE
  8. FILL THE COOLED KULFI MIX INTO THE CAVITY
  9. PUT THE TOP PIECE BACK ON, FREEZE FOR 8- 12 HOURS, PEEL OFF THE SKIN, SLICE INTO ROUNDS & SERVE
