Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. paneer 250 grms
  2. FILLING
  3. 1 tbsp each chopped raisins,sliced almonds &Pistachios
  4. Finely chopped fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  5. SLURRY
  6. 1 tbsp flour
  7. 1 tbsp Corn flour
  8. 1/4

Instructions

  1. SOAK 50 GMS CASHEWS, 2 TBSP POPPY SEEDS IN WARM WATER FOR 1 HOUR
  2. HEAT 3 TBSP MUSTARD OIL, ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 2 BAY LEAVES
  3. MAKE A PASTE OF 2 ONIONS, 1 INCH GINGER, 2 GREEN CHILLIES, ADD TO THE OIL
  4. SAUTE THE ONION PASTE UNTIL IT TURNS PINK
  5. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF CUMIN, CORIANDER, TURMERIC, RED CHILLI POWDERS & SALT
  6. ADD THE PUREE OF 3 TOMATOES, COOK UNTIL THE OIL SEPARATES
  7. GRIND THE SOAKED CASHEWS-POPPY SEEDS INTO A FINE PASTE, ADD TO THE MASALA, SAUTE
  8. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  9. COVER & SIMMER THE GRAVY FOR 10-15 MINS OR UNTIL THE OIL SEPARATES
  10. MIX 1 TBSP EACH OF SLICED ALMONDS, PISTACHIOS, RAISINS, 2 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER
  11. ADD THE FILLING ON 100 GMS SLICED COTTAGE CHEESE
  12. COVER WITH 100 GMS COTTAGE CHEESE SLICES
  13. MIX 1 TBSP EACH OF FLOUR & CORNFLOUR WITH 1/4 CUP WATER TO MAKE A SMOOTH SLURRY
  14. DIP THE PANEER SANDWICHES INTO THE SLURRY
  15. SHALLOW FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON BOTH SIDES
  16. PLACE THE FRIED PANEER SANDWICHES OVER THE READY GRAVY, SERVE HOT
