Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 big potatoes
  2. 1 tbsp butter
  3. 1 tbsp rice flour
  4. 1 tbsp corn flour
  5. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  7. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. GRATE 3 BIG POTATOES AND KEEP IN ICE COLD WATER FOR 10 MINUTES
  2. DRAIN AND SQUEEZE OUT ALL THE MOISTURE, IN A PAN HEAT 1 TBSP BUTTER
  3. SAUTE POTATOES FOR 4 TO 5 MINUTES
  4. LET IT COOL DOWN
  5. ADD 1 TBSP RICE FLOUR, 1 TBSP CORN FLOUR
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER, SALT
  7. ADD 3 TBSP GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
  8. MIX NICELY AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 5 MINUTES
  9. GREASE YOUR PALM AND SHAPE THE HASH BROWNS
  10. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND SHALLOW FRY
  11. FLIP WHEN GOLDEN BROWN FROM ONE SIDE
  12. FRY NICELY FROM BOTH SIDES
  13. WHEN CRISP, TAKE IT OUT ON A PAPER TOWEL
  14. CRISPY AND CHEESY HASH BROWN ARE READY
