ABOUT Bechamel sauce RECIPE

A perfect cheesy sauce that goes with pasta, sandwhich, macaroni.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  2. 1-1/2 cup milk
  3. 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  4. 2 tablespoon butter
  5. one teaspoon olive oil
  6. 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  7. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1-1/2 CUP MILK, 1/2 CUP CHEDDAR CHEESE, 2 TBSP BUTTER, 1 TSP OLIVE OIL, 1 TBSP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  2. HEAT OIL AND BUTTER IN A PAN
  3. ADD FLOUR AND ROAST TILL NICE AROMA COMES OUT
  4. ADD MILK AND STIR CONTINUOUSLY SO THAT NO LUMPS ARE FORMED
  5. WHEN MILK THICKENS ADD 1 TBSP DRIED ITALIAN HERBS AND SALT
  6. SWITCH OFF THE GAS AND ADD GRATED CHEESE AND MIX NICELY
  7. BECHAMEL SAUCE IS READY (CAN EASILY BE STORED IN FRIDGE FOR COUPLE OF DAYS)
