Wheat flour 1 & 1/2 cups
powdered sugar 3/4 cup
Milk powder 1/2 cup
Milk 2 cups
ghee 1/2 cup
Baking Powder 1 Tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Instructions
PREPARE 1 & 1/2 CUP WHEAT FLOUR,3/4 CUP SUGAR,1/2 CUP GHEE,1/2 CUP MILK POWDER,2 CUPS MILK,1 TSP BAKING POWDER,1/2 TSP BAKING SODA AND 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE.
TAKE GHEE AND POWDERED SUGAR IN A Mixing BOWL AND WHISK WELL.
SIEVE FLOUR,MILK POWDER,BAKING POWDER AND SODA.
MIX THE DRY INGREDIENTS INTO THE GHEE SUGAR MIX.
ADD HALF CUP MILK AT A TIME AND MIX GRADUALLY TO FORM A MEDIUM CONSISTENCY BATTER.
ADD 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE AND WHISK IN ONE DIRECTION.
THIS SHOULD BE THE CONSISTENCY.
POUR THE BATTER IN A GREASED AND LINED BAKING TIN.
TAP TWICE TO REMOVE AIR.
KEEP TO BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES C FOR 30 MINUTES.
AFTER IT COOLS DOWN LITTLE,LOOSEN THE EDGES AND INVERT ON A PLATE.
LOVELY COLOUR ON THE BOTTOM TOO.
CUT INTO PIECES AND SERVE.
