Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour 1 & 1/2 cups
  2. powdered sugar 3/4 cup
  3. Milk powder 1/2 cup
  4. Milk 2 cups
  5. ghee 1/2 cup
  6. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  7. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  8. Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. PREPARE 1 & 1/2 CUP WHEAT FLOUR,3/4 CUP SUGAR,1/2 CUP GHEE,1/2 CUP MILK POWDER,2 CUPS MILK,1 TSP BAKING POWDER,1/2 TSP BAKING SODA AND 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE.
  2. TAKE GHEE AND POWDERED SUGAR IN A Mixing BOWL AND WHISK WELL.
  3. SIEVE FLOUR,MILK POWDER,BAKING POWDER AND SODA.
  4. MIX THE DRY INGREDIENTS INTO THE GHEE SUGAR MIX.
  5. ADD HALF CUP MILK AT A TIME AND MIX GRADUALLY TO FORM A MEDIUM CONSISTENCY BATTER.
  6. ADD 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE AND WHISK IN ONE DIRECTION.
  7. THIS SHOULD BE THE CONSISTENCY.
  8. POUR THE BATTER IN A GREASED AND LINED BAKING TIN.
  9. TAP TWICE TO REMOVE AIR.
  10. KEEP TO BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES C FOR 30 MINUTES.
  11. AFTER IT COOLS DOWN LITTLE,LOOSEN THE EDGES AND INVERT ON A PLATE.
  12. LOVELY COLOUR ON THE BOTTOM TOO.
  13. CUT INTO PIECES AND SERVE.
  14. SEE HOW SOFT AND SPONGY THE CAKE HAS TURNED OUT ALTHOUGH MADE FROM WHEAT FLOUR.ENJOY WITH TEA,COFFEE OR MILK.
