  1. half kg rice
  2. half kg Idli rice
  3. 150 grams of urad dal
  4. few Methi seeds
  5. salt to taste
  6. some water
  7. 1/4 cup of jaggery syrup
  8. 1 Chopped onion
  9. 1 Chopped greenchilly
  10. 1/4 cup oil
  11. Few mustard seeds
  12. Some curryleaves
  13. fuso few soaked gram dall

Instructions

  1. 1/2 KG RAW RICE
  2. ADD IDLY RICE AND RAW RICE EQUALLY
  3. 150 GRAMS OF URDU DAL
  4. FEW OF METHI SEEDS AND POUR SOME WATER
  5. MIX WELL AND SOAK FOE 2-3 HOURS
  6. GRIND THE RICE WITH LITTLE WATER (30-35 MINUTES)
  7. AFTER GRIND MIX ALL TO GETHER AND SET ASIDE FOR FERMENTATION FOR ATLEAST 6 TO 8 HOURS. THEN USE
  8. TAKE 1/2 CUP OF BATTER AND ADD PINCH OF SALT AND ALSO 1/4 CUP OF JAGGERY SYRUP
  9. MIX WELL AND KEEP ASIDE
  10. TAKE ANOTHER 1/2 CUP OF BATTER ADD 1/4 TEASPOON OF SALT
  11. ADD FEW SOAKED GARM DALL AND SOME SEASONING (OIL,ONION, CURRY LEAVES, GREEN CHILLY)
  12. MIX WELL ALL TO GATHERING
  13. ADD LITTLE WATER AND AGAIN MIX WELL
  14. SWEET PANIYARAM BATTER AND SAVOURY (KARA) PANIYARAM BATTER IS READY TO USE
  15. HEAT A PANIYARAM MOLD AND ADD SOME OIL
  16. POUR THE 1 LADDLE OF SAVOURY BATTER
  17. POUR SOME OIL AND COOK FOR FEW MINUTES
  18. ONCE COOK FOR ONE SIDE TURN OUT THE OTHER SIDE GENTLY USING STICK AND COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  19. AFTER ONE MINUTE TRANSFER THE PLATE
  20. NEXT SWEET PANIYARAM ADD LITTLE OIL AND POUR THE ONE LADDLE OF SWEET PANIYARAM BATTER
  21. COOK FOR FEW MINUTES AND TURN OUT OTHER SIDE
  22. SWEET PANIYARAM IS READY SOFT AND CRISPY
  23. BOTH SAVORY AND SWEET PANIYARAM (APPE) IS READY
