Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. coriander seeds 4 tbs
  2. cumin seeds 2 tbs
  3. Selary seeds 1 tbs
  4. cloves 18/20
  5. Nut meg 1 tbs
  6. Mays 1
  7. Fennel seeds 1 tbs
  8. Fenugreek seeds 1 tbs
  9. Star annis 5/6
  10. Green cardamom 9/10
  11. Black cardamom 2
  12. Sinamon sticks 1 inch 5/7 sticks
  13. Bay leaf 5/6
  14. Black cumin seeds 1; tsp
  15. oil 1/2 cup
  16. onion 1/2 cup
  17. Garlic- ginger paste 1 tbs
  18. Red chilli powder 1&1/2 tbs
  19. Tarmaric Powder 1 tsp
  20. wheat 1 cup
  21. Moong dall 1&1/2 cup
  22. Lentil 1/4 cup
  23. Mass dal 1/4 cup
  24. Aromatic rice 1/4 cup
  25. chickpeas 1/4 cup
  26. Pandan leaf 2
  27. Shredded ginger 2 tbs
  28. fried onion ( baresta) 1/4 cup
  29. salt as to taste
  30. Lamon juice 3 tbs
  31. mint leaves 1 handful

Instructions

  1. TRANSFER CORIANDER, CUMIN SEEDS,SELERY SEEDS, CLOVES
  2. ADD NUT MEG, FENNEL SEEDS,FENUGREEK SEEDS,STAR ANISE.
  3. ADD BLACK CARDAMOM, GREEN CARDAMOM,MAYS,SINAMON STICKS
  4. ADD BAY LEAF, BLACK CUMIN SEEDS
  5. MIX ALL SPICES AND ROASTE THEM
  6. THEN GRIND ROASTED SPICES INTO FINE PARTICLES.
  7. MARINATE CHICKEN PIECES ADDING PANDAN LEAVES, SALT, LAMON JUICE.
  8. MIX WELL & REST IT FOR 25 MINUTES.
  9. TO MAKE DAL MIX GRIND COARSELY (WHOLE WHEAT1 CUP+MOONG DAL 1/4 CUP+LENTILS 1/4 CUP+CHICKPEAS 1/4 CUP+ AROMATIC RICE 1/4 CUP)
  10. TAKE 1 CUP COARSELY GROUND HALEEM MIX DAL
  11. SOAK DAL MIXTURE WITH 3 CUPS OF WATER
  12. SOAK THE HALEEM DAL MIX AT LEAST 30 MINUTES
  13. BOIL IT IN MEDIUM FLAME.
  14. BOIL HALEEM DAL MIX FOR 40 MINUTES
  15. CHICKEN PREPARATION:IN A PAN ADD 1/2 CUP OF OIL,ADD 1/2 CUP OF FINELY SLICED ONION
  16. ADD 1 TBS GARLIC- GINGER PASTE, 1TBS RED CHILLI POWDER,1 TSP TARMARIC POWDER
  17. COOK IT FOR A WHILE THEN ADD 3TBS SPECIAL HALEEM MIX POWDER
  18. ADD MARINATE CHICKEN.
  19. MIX WELL& COOK IT FOR 15-20 MINUTES IN MEDIUM HIGH FLAME
  20. CHICKEN IS READY
  21. ADD THE COOKED CHICKEN INTO BOILING HALEEM DAL& MIX PROPERLY
  22. WHEN IT IS ALMOST DONE ADD FINELY CHOPPED GREEN CORIANDER, GREEN CHILLI
  23. ADD 2 TBS SHREDDED GINGER,LIME JUICE TO TASTE
  24. SPRINKLE GOLDEN BROWN FRIED ONION OVER SERVING BOWL,ADD SOME FRESH MINT LEAVES
  25. ENJOY HOMEMADE YUMLICIEST HALEEM.
