Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour. 1 cup
  2. Samolina 1/3 cup
  3. ghee 2 tbs
  4. salt 1/4 tsp
  5. Milk powder 2 tbs
  6. Sugar. 1/2 cup
  7. Sesame seeds 2 tbs
  8. Ground nuts 2 tbs
  9. cardamom powder(3)
  10. Shredded coconut 1/3 cup warm water as required

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR,1/3 CUP SEMOLINA, 2 TBSP GHEE
  2. MIX WELL UNTIL CRUMBLY, ADD SALT
  3. ADD 2 TBSP MILK POWDER, 1/3 CUP SUGAR, ADD A MIXTURE OF 2 TBSP EACH OF SESAME SEEDS & CRUSHED NUTS
  4. ADD 1 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER, 1/3 CUP GRATED COCONUT, 2-4 TBSP LUKEWARM WATER
  5. KNEAD INTO A FIRM DOUGH, COVER & SET ASIDE TO REST FOR 1 HOUR
  6. FLATTEN OUT THE RESTED DOUGH ON A FLOUR DUSTED SURFACE
  7. ROLL OUT, CUT OUT COOKIE SHAPES
  8. YOU CAN EVEN PRESS OUT THE SHAPES LIKE THIS
  9. THE COOKIES ARE READY TO FRY
  10. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  11. FLIP & FRY FROM BOTH SIDES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  12. THE COOKIES ARE DONE NOW, SET ASIDE TO COOL
  13. STORE IN AIR-TIGHT BOXES & SERVE AT TEA-TIME
