  1. All-purpose flour 1 cup
  2. Whole wheat flour 2 cup
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Water 2 cup
  5. Cooking oil
  6. For palyam...
  7. Lady's finger 1/4 kg
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Grated coconut 1/4 cup
  10. Cooking oil 2 tsp
  11. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  12. Urad dal 1 tsp
  13. Red chilli 1
  14. Curry leaves few
  15. Jaggery lemon sized
  16. Tamarind lemon sized
  17. Water 2 cup
  18. Red chilli powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR 1 CUP, WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR 2 CUP
  2. ADD SALT AND WATER MIX WELL AND PREPARE DOUGH
  3. ADD 1/4 CUP OF WATER AND AGAIN KNEAD WELL TO GET SMOOTH DOUGH
  4. MAKE EQUAL SIZED TEN DOUGH BALLS
  5. PRESS IN WHEAT FLOUR AND ROLL HALF
  6. NOW ROLL INTO LONG AND MAKE ROUND
  7. AGAIN ROLL IN CHAPATHI ROLLER
  8. SPRINKLE SOME OIL TO BOTH THE SIDES AND COOK IN HOT TAWA
  9. FLIP AND COOK BOTH THE SIDES EVENLY, REMOVE AND KEEP ASIDE
  10. HEAT OIL AND LET CRACKLE MUSTARD SEEDS, URAD DAL AND RED CHILLI
  11. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND CHOPPED ONION
  12. ADD LEMON SIZED TAMARIND SOAKED WATER 2 CUP
  13. ADD JAGGERY LEMON SIZED, RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP, SALT TO TASTE AND BRING IT TO BOIL FINELY
  14. NOW ADD CHOPPED LADY'S FINGER, COVER AND COOK
  15. CHECK THE COOKNESS, ALLOW WATER TO DISSOLVE COMPLETELY
  16. ADD GRATED COCONUT AND MIX WELL, SERVE WITH PAROTA
