Coconut neeru dosa with coconut milk is common street and home made food in Mangalore. But here I have prepared sprouted Ragi milk instead of coconut milk. It is very tasty and healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Dosa rice 2 cup
  2. Water 3/4 ltr
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Grated coconut 1 cup
  5. Cooking oil 1/4 cup
  6. For ragi milk...
  7. Sprouted Ragi 1 cup
  8. Salt a pinch
  9. Jaggery 1 cup
  10. Water 1/2 ltr
  11. Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. OVERNIGHT SOAKED RICE 2 CUP
  2. GRATED COCONUT 1 CUP
  3. ADD SOME WATER, SALT TO TASTE
  4. GRIND UNTIL SMOOTH
  5. TRANSFER INTO A BOWL, ADJUST WATER, KEEP ASIDE FOR TEN MINUTES
  6. SPROUTED RAGI 1 CUP
  7. ADD JAGGERY, WATER AND SALT A PINCH
  8. GRIND SMOOTHLY
  9. STRAIN IT
  10. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER SQUEEZE AND STRAIN
  11. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER AND KEEP ASIDE
  12. GREASE HOT TAWA, POUR THE BATTER, COVER AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES IN HIGH FLAME
  13. REMOVE AND SERVE IN HOT WITH RAGI MILK
