ABOUT Garlic naan RECIPE

Very soft non chewy naan without tandoor, cooked on roti tawa, flavoured with garlic butter so easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 1 cup
  2. salt 1/4 tesp
  3. Baking powder 1/4 tesp
  4. Baking soda 1/4 tesp
  5. sugar 1 tesp
  6. Milk powder 1 tbsp
  7. oil 1 tbsp
  8. curd 2 tbsp
  9. butter 2 tbsp
  10. garlic 1 tesp

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL TAKE 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 1/4 TESP EACH OF SALT, BAKING POWDER AND BAKING SODA.
  2. ADD 1 TESP SUGAR, 1 TBSP EACH OF MILK POWDER AND OIL.
  3. ADD 2 TBSP CURD AND MIX.
  4. KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH USING WATER AS NEEDED.
  5. REST THE DOUGH COVERED FOR HALF AN HOUR.
  6. MIX CRUSHED GARLIC IN 2 TBSP OF BUTTER AND MICROWAVE FOR 10 SECONDS.
  7. KNEAD THE DOUGH FOR A MINUTE .
  8. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO FOUR PORTIONS.
  9. ROLL A DOUGH BALL IN OBLONG SHAPE DUSTING WITH FLOUR.
  10. APPLY WATER ON TOP. STRETCH A LITTLE.
  11. PUT ON A HOT GRIDDLE, KEEPING WET SIDE DOWN.
  12. BRUSH WITH GARLIC BUTTER ON TOP.
  13. WHEN BUBBLES APPEAR INVERT THE GRIDDLE AND COOK TOP OF NAAN ON DIRECT FLAME.
  14. SCRATCH OUT THE NAAN USING SHARP EDGE SPATULA. TOP WITH MORE GARLIC BUTTER.
