Tandoori Tawa chicken is so delicious and we can enjoy it dry or with the naan or chapati, and we have given the flavours of Tandoor with the burnt charcoal

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 chicken breast
  2. for first marination-
  3. Salt and Pepper to taste
  4. one teaspoon Kashmiri mirch powder
  5. one tablespoon lemon juice
  6. one tablespoon ginger garlic
  7. for second marination
  8. one onion
  9. two tomatoes
  10. one green chilli
  11. one tablespoon ginger garlic
  12. half teaspoon Garam Masala
  13. one tablespoon tandoori chicken masala
  14. salt to taste
  15. one teaspoon lemon juice
  16. 3-4 tbsp oil
  17. for Dungar-
  18. small piece of charcoal
  19. clove
  20. green cardamom
  21. one teaspoon butter
  22. 2 tablespoon fresh coriander
  23. green chillies and lemon wedges for Garnish

Instructions

  1. TAKE TO CHICKEN BREAST AND APPLY CUT MARKS ON BOTH SIDES
  2. LIKE THIS
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP KASHMIRI MIRCH POWDER, 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER
  4. 1 TBSP CHOPPED GINGER GARLIC, 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE, RUB IT ON CHICKEN
  5. KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINUTES
  6. FOR MASALA:- TAKE 1 ONION, 1 TBSP GINGER GARLIC, 2 TOMATOES, 1 GREEN CHILLI
  7. COARSELY GRIND IT
  8. ADD IT TO THE MARINATED CHICKEN AND ADD 2 TBSP ROASTED GRAM FLOUR
  9. ADD SALT, 1 TBSP TANDOORI CHICKEN MASALA, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1 TSP LEMON JUICE
  10. MIX IT WELL
  11. COVER AND KEEP IN FRIDGE FOR ONE HOUR
  12. ADD 2 TO 3 TBSP OIL ON TAWA AND ROTATE IT
  13. WHEN THE TAWA IS HOT PLACE THE CHICKEN AND MASALA ON IT
  14. ADD 1 GREEN CHILLI AND 1 ONION, COOK ON HIGH HEAT
  15. AFTER 5 - 7 MINUTES FLIP THE CHICKEN
  16. COOK FROM BOTH SIDES ON MEDIUM TO HIGH HEAT
  17. NOW COVER WITH THE LID AND COOK ON LOW FLAME FOR 5-7 MINUTES
  18. OFF THE FLAME, LIGHT CHARCOAL. PLACE IT IN A SMALL KATORI 
  19. ADD CLOVE, GREEN CARDAMOM AND BUTTER. COVER THE TAWA SO AS TO TRAP ALL THE SMOKE INSIDE
  20. REMOVE THE CHARCOAL KATORI AFTER 7-8 MINUTES
  21. SPRINKLE SOME FRESH CORIANDER
