Delicious Aaloo tikkis, which can be eaten as is or with chaats

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 Medium boiled potatoes, mashed
  2. 1-2 green chillies finely chopped
  3. 1.5 tbsp corn flour
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  7. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon adjust
  8. 1/2 cup or more breadcrumbs
  9. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  10. 1/4 teaspoon Amchur powder
  11. Oil to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL, ADD MASHED POTATOES, CORIANDER LEAVES, GREEN CHILLIES, SALT, CORN FLOUR AND SPICE POWDERS
  2. MIX WELL AND KNEAD TO SOFT DOUGH
  3. MAKE LEMON SIZED BALLS , SHAPE LIKE PATTIES AND COAT WELL WITH BREADCRUMBS
  4. REFRIGERATE FOR 30 MINUTES
  5. HEAT TAWA AND DRIZZLE OIL
  6. PLACE PATTIES OVER HOT TAWA
  7. DRIZZLE OIL ALL OVER PATTIES
  8. FLIP AND COOK ON BOTH SIDES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  9. SERVE HOT WITH CHUTNEY OR SAUCE
