Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Button mushrooms 8 to 10 ( with stems )
  2. For Marination :
  3. Yogurt 2 Tablespoons
  4. Gram flour 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt 3/4 teaspoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder 3/4 teaspoon
  8. Dry mango powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Other Ingredients :
  13. Cooking oil 4 tablespoons
  14. Green capsicum finely chopped 2 tablespoons
  15. Cheddar cheese shredded 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , take 2 tablespoons yogurt , 1 tablespoon gram flour .
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder .
  4. Add 3/4 teaspoon red chilly powder .
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder .
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder .
  7. Add 3/4 teaspoon salt or as preferred .
  8. Add 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder .
  9. Mix all to a smooth paste .
  10. Take 8 to 10 cleaned button mushrooms . Remove the stem portion . Save the stems for later use .
  11. Marinate the button mushrooms ( no stems ) in the prepared paste for 5 minutes .
  12. Meantime , heat a tablespoon of cooking oil on a tawa . Add the finely chopped mushroom stems .
  13. Add 2 tablespoons finely chopped green capsicum , 1 teaspoon marinade gram flour paste .
  14. Sauté all together for 2 minutes . Switch off the heat . Transfer the mixture to a bowl .
  15. Add 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese to the slightly cooled mixture . Mix well .
  16. Now stuff the marinated mushrooms with the prepared cheesy filling mixture .
  17. Heat 3 tablespoons oil on the tawa .Place the mushrooms with the stuffed side down on the tawa.
  18. Slow roast in low heat . Flip sides gently and roast evenly .
  19. Stuffed Mushrooms are ready. Serve hot as an appetizer/ snack / side dish.
  20. A quick nutritive party snack to please your guests .
