Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole Banana flower
  2. Oil 1 tablespoon
  3. Water for boiling banana flower
  4. Gram flour 1cup
  5. Plain Oats 1/4 cup
  6. Green chillies 3 chopped
  7. Gingergarlic chopped 1 tablespoon
  8. Red chilli powder to taste
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Dry mango powder 1 tablespoon
  11. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Bread crumbs 1 cup
  13. Egg 1 number
  14. Oil for shallow frying
  15. Cabbage leaves for serving
  16. Grated carrots 1/2cup for serving
  17. Tomato sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. TAKE OUT THESE TWO PARTS AND DISCARD
  2. CUT INNER WHITE PART OF THE BANANA FLOWER
  3. SOAK OVERNIGHT IN WATER
  4. AFTER 8-10HRS DISCARD WATER
  5. ADD FRESH WATER TO BOIL
  6. ADD 1 TABLESPOON OIL
  7. BOIL FOR 10 MINUTES ON HIGH TO MEDIUM FLAME
  8. COOL AND TRANSFER IN A MIXER JAR DISCARD WATER
  9. MAKE A FINE PASTE
  10. FRY THINLY SLICED 1ONION IN 2 TABLESPOON OF OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  11. FRY 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR TO TAKE OUT RAW SMELL
  12. ADD FRIED GRAM FLOUR TO BANANA FLOWERS PASTE
  13. ADD 3 GREEN CHILLIES CHOPPED
  14. 1 TABLESPOON CHOPPED GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  15. 1/4TH CUP PLAIN OATS
  16. ADD SHALLOW FRIED ONIONS
  17. SALT TO TASTE
  18. RED CHILLY POWDER TO TASTE
  19. 1/2TEASPOON GARAM MASALA POWDER
  20. 1 TABLESPOON DRY MANGO POWDER
  21. ADD 1/2EGG REMAINING KEEP FOR MAKING KEBAB
  22. MIX
  23. TAKE 1 CUP BREAD CRUMBS
  24. ROLL BANANA FLOWER KEBAB BATTER FIRST IN BREAD CRUMB THEN DIP IN EGG BATTER AGAIN ROLLOVER WITH BREADCRUMBS
  25. COVER WITH BREAD CRUMB NICELY THEN MAKE A FLAT DISC
  26. HEAT TAVA AND POUR OIL TO SHALLOW FRY KEBAAB
  27. FRY BOTH THE SIDE UNTIL CRISPY GOLDEN BROWN
  28. TAKE OUT IN A SERVING PLATE
  29. SERVE ON A CABBAGE LEAVES GARNISH WITH GRATED CARROTS
  30. SERVE WITH SOME TOMATO SAUCE
