Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Urad Vadas 4
  2. Cooking oil 3 tablespoons
  3. Garlic finely crushed 1 teaspoon
  4. Salt 1/4 teaspoon or as preferred
  5. Onion 1 medium sized Finely chopped
  6. Cabbage shredded 1/2 cup
  7. Peri peri spicy sauce 5 tablespoons or as preferred
  8. Water 2 ladleful
  9. Spring onions for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat 3 tablespoons cooking oil on a tawa . Add a teaspoon of finely crushed garlic . Sauté brown .
  2. Add 1 medium sized onion finely chopped . Sauté until translucent . Add 1/4 teaspoon salt .
  3. Add 1/2 cup shredded cabbage . Sauté until soft .
  4. Add spicy peri peri sauce 5 tablespoons.
  5. Mix all together .
  6. Add 2 ladleful water . Cook until cabbage is parcooked .
  7. Place the urad Vadas on the gravy .
  8. Simmer the flame . Cover and cook for 2 minutes .
  9. Flip sides and see Vada is sauce coated .
  10. Cover and slow cook for another 2 minutes until
  11. vadas look little roasted and at the same time masala absorbed . Gently press and open cook
  12. for 2 mins . Garnish with spring onions .
  13. Tawa Peri Peri Vadas are ready. Serve hot .
  14. Relish !
