ABOUT Honey Sand Cake on Tawa RECIPE

Honey Sand Cake is very delicious and easy recipe, generally in this recipe the crust are bake in oven but here i try the crust on tawa and cook with trick to gives the best result.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For tawa cake layer, 380 gram all purpose flour some for dusting
  2. 3 tbsp butter
  3. 90ml honey
  4. 150 gram brown sugar
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 1 tsp baking soda
  7. For Frosting, 1 and 1/2 cup whipped cream
  8. 1 cup sour cream
  9. 1 cup powdered sugar
  10. For greasing, 2 tbsp honey for greasing
  11. 3 tbsp water
  12. 3 to 4 oreo cookies pieces for decoration
  13. Chocolate sauce for serve

Instructions

  1. TAKE 3 TBSP BUTTER IN A SAUCE PAN
  2. NOW ADD 90ML HONEY
  3. ADD 150 GRAM BROWN SUGAR IN IT
  4. AND MELT TOGETHER OVER MEDIUM TO LOW HEAT CONTINUE WHISK TILL SUGAR COMPLETELY MELT
  5. OTHER SIDE WHISK EGG NICELY AND KEEP ASIDE IT
  6. SUGAR MELT SWITCH OFF FLAME REST TO TEMPERATURE LOW,ADD BEATEN EGG AND WHISKING TILL EGG INCORPORATE
  7. NOW ADD 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  8. WHISK WITH BAKING SODA UNTIL NO LUMPS REMAIN
  9. AND ADD 380 GRAM ALL PURPOSE FLOUR GRADUALLY
  10. MIX IT
  11. NOW ADD REMANING FLOUR AND MIX
  12. NOW TRANSFER THIS DOUGH IN KITCHEN COUNTER FOR KNEADING WELL
  13. AND KNEAD DOUGH TILL CLAY CONSISTENCY, NOW MAKE A BALL OF THIS DOUGH
  14. AND CUT THE DOUGH IN 8 EQUAL PORTION
  15. TAKE 1-1 PORTION
  16. AND MAKE BALLS OF ALL PORTION
  17. TAKE A BALL OF DOUGH, SPRINKLE SOME FLOUR OVER THE COUNTER AND MAKE THICK CHAPATI OF THIS
  18. PLACE A PLATE OVER THE ROLLED DOUGH AND TRACE AROUND IT AND WITH KNIFE TO GET A PERFECT CIRCLE
  19. KEEP THE CUTTING RESEVE FOR NEXT STEP
  20. NOW GIVES THE NICE SHAPE
  21. ARRANGE A TAWA OVER THE OTHER TAWA TO DISTRIBUTE THE FLAME AND KEEP FLAME HIGH
  22. PLACE ROLLED DOUGH ON TAWA AND COVER IT AND KEEP FLAME HIGH FOR 15 SECONDS,NOW LOW THE FLAME
  23. OPEN IT WHEN ONE SIDE DONE FLIP IT, COVER IT AND AGAIN COOK ON LOW FLAME FOR 1 MINUTE
  24. WHEN FLUFFY FROM BOTH SIDE AND DONE LEFT IT OUT
  25. COOK ALL ROLL LIKE THIS
  26. PREPARE ALL AND KEEP ASIDE
  27. NOW TAKE REMAING SCRAP ON HOT TAWA AND SPREAD IT
  28. CUT IN SMALL SIZE TO PERFECT COOK
  29. WHEN IT'S CRISP SWITCH OF GAS AND LEFT TO COOL
  30. WHEN COOL TRANSFER IN MIXER JAR
  31. AND COARSALY GRIND IT AND MAKE CRUMBS
  32. FOR FROSTING, 1 CUP SOUR CREAM AND 1 AND 1/2 CUP WHIPING CREAM
  33. ADD 1 CUP POWDER SUGAR OR ACCORDING TO TASTE AND WHIPPED IT NICELY AND STORE IN FRIDGE
  34. SCRATCH THE UPPER LAYERS FROM BOTH SIDE AND SIDE WALLS ALSO OF ALL ROLLS
  35. DO SAME WITH ALL
  36. TAKE 2 TBSP HONEY AND 3 TBSP WATER IN A BOWL AND MIX WELL
  37. PLACE ONE ROLL ON COUNTER AND SPREAD THE HONEY WATER ALL SIDES OF ROLL
  38. SPREAD THE CREAM ON THE HONEY WATER SOAKED ROLL SURFACE
  39. PLACE ANOTHER ONE AND DO SAME WITH THIS
  40. NOW ARRANGE ALL ROLLS AND FINALLY FROST THE TOP AND SIDES WITH REMANING FROSTING
  41. DUST THE TOP AND SIDES WITH PREPARED CRUMBS
  42. DECORATE WITH OREO BISQUITS PIECES
  43. NOW HONEY SAND CAKE IS READY TO SERVE
