ABOUT Masala Fish Fry RECIPE

This fish fry uses a special rub that is my grand moms secret.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 whole fish
  2. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  3. Lemon juice of 1/2
  4. Salt
  5. Whole dhania 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. CLEAN WASH AND MAKE DEEP CUTS ON THE FISH
  2. TAKE 2 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND RUB IT ON AND IN BETWEEN THE SLITS
  3. TAKE 1/2LEMON AND SQUEEZE THE JUICE ALL OVER THE FISH
  4. FISH RUB -TAKE 2 TBSP WHOLE TAWA ROASTED DHANIA AND SLIGHTLY CRUSH IT
  5. ADD 1 TSP HALDI
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI PWDR
  7. ADD L TSP DHANIA PWDR
  8. ADD 1 TSP SALT
  9. ADD 1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA PWDR
  10. ADD 1 TBSP ROASTED KASURI METHI LEAVES
  11. MIX EVERYTHING
  12. SLIGHTLY PULSE THE RUB/MASALA
  13. TAKE THE FISH AND SPREAD THE RUB ALL OVER THE FISH.
  14. MAKE SURE TO PUT THE RUB ALL INSIDE THE SLITS TOO
  15. COVER IN A FOIL AND MARINATE FOR 3 TO 4 HRS
  16. OUR FISH IS ALL READY
  17. IN HOT OIL ADD THE FISH AND FRY TILL GOLDEN
  18. TURN AND FRY ON THE OTHER SIDE TOO
