Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Moong dal 1/2 cup
  2. Rice flour 4 tsp
  3. salt to taste
  4. turmeric powder a pinch
  5. water 1/2 - 3/4 cup
  6. apple 1 round slices
  7. oil 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. GRIND SMOOTHLY HALF AN HOUR SOAKED MOONG DAL, RICE FLOUR 4 TSP, SALT TO TASTE
  2. ADD SOME WATER, TURMERIC POWDER A PINCH, CONTINUE GRINDING UNTIL SMOOTH
  3. TRANSFER BATTER INTO A BOWL, THE BATTER SHOULD NOT BE TOO THICK NOR BE TOO THIN
  4. DIP APPLE SLICES AND COAT THE BATTER WELL
  5. SHALLOW FRY IN GREASED IRON TAVA
  6. COVER AND COOK IN MEDIUM-LOW FLAME UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  7. OPEN THE LID AND SPRINKLE SOME OIL
  8. FLIP OVER, COVER AND COOK ANOTHER 4 MINUTES IN LOW FLAME
  9. CHECK THE COOKNESS AND REMOVE TO SERVE
