Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup kadala parupu ( channa dal )
  2. salt to taste
  3. A pinch hing
  4. Handful chopped onions, curry leaves and green chilli
  5. oil to fry

Instructions

  1. 1 CUP SOAKED ( FOR 1 HOUR ) KADALA PARUPU ( CHANNA DAL ) , SOME SALT, A TSP CUMIN SEEDS, A TSP SOANF
  2. ADD SOME HING, AND START GRINDING ( NO WATER ) FOR A MINUTE
  3. THE PORTION IS GRINDED COARSELY WHICH IS PERFECT
  4. TRANSFER THE CONTENTS TO A PLATE AND ADD HANDFUL CHOPPED ONION, CURRY LEAVES, GREEN CHILLI
  5. GIVE ALL A GENEROUS MIX AND START MAKING BALLS.
  6. THE BALLA ARE READY
  7. FLATTEN THE BALLS AND FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL CRISP
  8. FLIP THEM TO EITHER SIDES AND LET FRY WELL.
  9. THY ARE GOLDEN AND GOOD ENOUGH TO BE TRANSFERED AWAY FROM OIL
  10. LIKEWISE ADD THE REST OF THE FLATTENED BALLS AND FRY ALL .
  11. THE VADAS ARE GETTING READY.
  12. CRISP AND NICE IN TEXTURE
  13. AWESOME WITH A CUP OF HOT MASALA CHAI
