Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong dal 1/2cup
  2. haldi 1tsp
  3. Salt 1.5tsp
  4. Green chilli 2
  5. Mustard oil 3tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  7. Garlic 4chopped
  8. Onion chopped 2tbsp
  9. Hing 1/4tsp
  10. Red chilli whole 2
  11. Garam masala powder 1/4tsp
  12. Desi ghee 1tsp

Instructions

  1. IN A PRESSURE COOKER ADD HALF CUP MOONG DAAL WITH 1TSP HALDI AND 1.5 TSP SALT
  2. ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES WITH 2CUPS WATER
  3. PRESSURE COOK FOR 1WHISTLE ONLY
  4. IN A PAN HEAT 3 TBSP MUSTARD OIL
  5. ADD 1TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 1/4TSP HING, 4 GARLIC CHOPPED, 2 TBSP CHOPPED ONION
  6. STIR TILL ONIONS ARE GOLDEN IN COLOUR
  7. ADD IN 1 CHOPPED TOMATOE AND 1CUP CHOPPED SPINACH LEAVES
  8. ADD 2 THINLY SLICED RED CHILLI AND 1/4TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER
  9. ADD IN COOKED DAL AND GIVE A QUICK BOIL AND SERVE WITH 1 TSP OF DESI GHEE ON TOP
