ABOUT No Bake Honey Sand Cake RECIPE

Honey Sand Cake is very delicious and easy recipe, generally in this recipe the crust are bake in oven but here i try the crust on tawa and cook with trick to gives the best result.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For tawa cake layer, 380 gram all purpose flour some for dusting
  2. 3 tbsp butter
  3. 90ml honey
  4. 150 gram brown sugar
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 1 tsp baking soda
  7. For Frosting, 1 and 1/2 cup whipped cream
  8. 1 cup sour cream
  9. 1 cup powdered sugar
  10. For greasing, 2 tbsp honey for greasing
  11. 3 tbsp water
  12. 3 to 4 oreo cookies pieces for decoration
  13. Chocolate sauce for serve

Instructions

  1. MELT 3 TBSP BUTTER, ADD 90 ML HONEY
  2. ADD 150 GMS BROWN SUGAR, CONTINUE TO WHISK & COOK ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THE SUGAR MELTS
  3. WHISK 3 EGGS
  4. TAKE THE BUTTER-HONEY-SUGAR MIX OFF HEAT, ADD THE BEATEN EGGS, WHISK IN
  5. ADD 1 TSP BAKING SODA, WHISK IN
  6. GRADUALLY ADD 380 GMS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, MIX IN
  7. TRANSFER THIS DOUGH ON A FLAT SURFACE, START TO KNEAD
  8. KNEAD TILL THE DOUGH ATTAINS A CLAY-LIKE CONSISTENCY, SHAPE INTO A BALL
  9. CUT THE BALL INTO 8 EQUAL PORTIONS
  10. MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF EACH PORTION
  11. TAKE A BALL OF DOUGH, DUST WITH FLOUR, ROLL INTO A ROTI
  12. PLACE A PLATE OVER THE ROTI, CUT OUT NEAT ROUNDS
  13. RESERVE THE TRIMMINGS FOR LATER USE
  14. PLACE ONE TAVA ON TOP OF ANOTHER TAVA ON HIGH HEAT
  15. PLACE THE ROTI ROUND ON TOP, COVER & GRILL ON HIGH HEAT FOR 15 SECONDS & LOWER THE HEAT
  16. FLIP, COVER & COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 1 MINUTE
  17. WHEN IT TURNS FLUFFY LIKE THIS & IS COOKED FROM BOTH SIDES, TAKE OFF HEAT
  18. IN A SIMILAR MANNER, GET ALL THE ROUNDS READY
  19. SPREAD THE RESERVED TRIMMINGS ON TOP OF THE HOT TAVAS & GRILL
  20. PRESS DOWN & BREAK THE TRIMMINGS UNTIL THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  21. ALLOW THEM TO COOL, TRANSFER TO A MIXER JAR
  22. BLEND TO MAKE A COARSE POWDER LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  23. TAKE 1 CUP SOUR CREAM, ADD 1.5 CUPS WHIPPING CREAM
  24. ADD 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR, WHIP TILL FLUFFY, REFRIGERATE THE READY FROSTING
  25. NOW SCRAPE OFF THE UPPER LAYER FROM BOTH SIDES & EDGES OF THE GRILLED ROUNDS
  26. DO THE SAME WITH ALL
  27. TAKE 2 TBSP HONEY, ADD 3 TBSP WATER, MIX
  28. TAKE ONE ROUND, COUNTER SPREAD SOME HONEY-WATER MIX ON TOP
  29. SPREAD A LAYER OF CHILLED WHIPPED CREAM OVER THIS
  30. PLACE ANOTHER ROUND ON TOP, REPEAT THE ALTERNATE LAYERING
  31. ARRANGE ALL THE ROUNDS INTO A TOWER, FROST THE TOP & THE SIDES
  32. DUST THE TOP & THE SIDES WITH THE READY POWDER
  33. DECORATE WITH SMALL PIECES OF BISCUITS, HONEY SAND CAKE IS READY TO SERVE
