Dried green chickpeas -1 cup, soaked overnight and boiled
White sesame seeds -1/2 cup, roasted
Garlic - 2, large cloves, chopped
Fresh coriander leaves - 1/2 cup, chopped
Olive - 2 tbsp + 1 tsp (for garnishing)
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilly powder - few pinches for garnishing
For Falafel:
Dried green chickpeas - 1 cup, soaked overnight and boiled
Onion - 1 large, roughly chopped
Garlic- 2 , large cloves, chopped
Fresh coriander leaves - 1 cup, chopped
Chickpea flour - 2 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
Roasted coriander powder - 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
White sesame seeds - 1/2 tbsp, to coat
Oil to deep fry
Instructions
GRIND WHITE SESAME SEEDS, OLIVE OIL TO FINE PASTE
ADD ROUGHLY CHOPPED GARLIC
ADD ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
ADD BLACK PEPPER POWDER
ADD SALT TO TASTE
ADD LEMON JUICE
ADD BOILED GREEN CHICKPEAS, PULSE 2-3 TIMES
ADD CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
ADJUST WATER, GRIND TO A FINE PASTE
TAKE BOILED GREEN CHICKPEAS IN MIXER JAR
ADD CHOPPED ONION, GARLIC
ADD CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
ADD ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
ADD ROASTED CORIANDER POWDER
ADD BLACK PEPPER POWDER
ADD RED CHILLY POWDER
ADD SALT TO TASTE
ADD CHICKPEA FLOUR, GRIND INTO COARSE DOUGH
