Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Hummus, 1 cup boiled chickpea
  2. 2 chopped garlic
  3. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  4. 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
  5. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  6. 1 tsp olive oil
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  8. 2 tbsp reserved boiled chickpea water
  9. For 4 Salmon and Quinua Cake, 250 gram Salmon (boneless)
  10. 1/4 cup boiled Quinua
  11. 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste
  12. 1/2 tsp turneric powder
  13. 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  14. 3 chopped garlic
  15. 1 tsp lemon juice
  16. 1 tsp mustard oil
  17. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  18. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  19. 1/4 cup fine chopped onion
  20. 1 tbsp fine chopped corriender
  21. For Coating, 1/2 cup rolled oats
  22. 2 tbsp oil for fry the cakes
  23. Extra for Hummus serving, 1 tbsp olive oil
  24. 1/4 tsp red chilli flakes for sprinkle over the top
  25. Some chopped corriender for sprinkle over the top
  26. Some onion, tomato and lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 CUP BOILED CHICKPEAS, 2 CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES TO A MIXER JAR
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 1 TBSP ROASTED SESAME SEEDS
  3. ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE, 1 TSP OLIVE OIL
  4. ADD SALT, 2 TBSP RESERVED WATER WHICH WAS USED TO BOIL THE CHICKPEAS, BLEND TILL SMOOTH
  5. THE HUMMUS IS READY, SET ASIDE
  6. TAKE 250 GMS SALMON CUBES, ADD 1/2 TSP SALT
  7. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, 1 TBSP MUSTARD SAUCE
  8. ADD 3 CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES, 1 TSP LEMON JUICE
  9. ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD OIL, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP PEPPER POWDER, 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, BLEND TO MAKE A COARSE PASTE
  11. ADD 1/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED ONION INTO THE READY PASTE
  12. ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, MIX
  13. TAKE 1/4 CUP BOILED QUINOA, ADD THE READY SALMON PASTE MIX
  14. MIX WELL, SHAPE INTO SMALL PATTIES
  15. GET ALL THE PATTIES READY
  16. TAKE 1/2 CUP CRUSHED ROLLED OATS, ROLL THE READY PATTIES IN THIS
  17. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL IN A NONSTICK PAN, SHALLOW FRY THE PATTIES
  18. FLIP & FRY FROM BOTH SIDES ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  19. TAKE OFF HEAT ONCE DONE
  20. ADD 1 TSP OLIVE OIL TO THE READY HUMMUS, SPRINKLE SOME RED CHILLI FLAKES & FRESH CORIANDER ON TOP
  21. SERVE WITH THE READY SALMON & QUINOA CAKES
