Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 11/4 cups Wheat flour
  2. 3/4 cup maize flour
  3. 120g soft unsalted butter
  4. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  5. 1/2 cup Caster sugar
  6. 2 tbsp honey
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  10. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. SIEVE WHEAT FLOUR, BAKING SODA IN A BOWL
  2. SIEVE MAIZE FLOUR AND SALT IN SAME BOWL
  3. MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS WELL AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  4. BLEND BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL CREAMY
  5. ADD EGG, VANILLA EXTRACT AND HONEY. BLEND UNTIL PALE AND FROTHY
  6. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX
  7. KNEAD INTO DOUGH
  8. COVER AND REFRIGERATE DOUGH FOR 15-20 MINUTES
  9. PREHEAT OVEN TO 160. LINE BAKING TRAY
  10. CUT THE COOKIE DOUGH INTO DESIRED SHAPE
  11. PLACE COOKIES ON BAKING TRAY LEAVING GAP BETWEEN THEM
  12. BAKE FOR 11-12 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  13. COOL COOKIES ON TRAY FOR 15 MINUTES
  14. COOL ON WIRE RACK COMPLETELY
  15. STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER. SERVE
