ABOUT Masala puri RECIPE

A complete dish in itself. It goes very well with any sabji. Very good for tiffin. This can be made with left over dal and dhaniya ki chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Wheat flour -2 cups
  2. Boiled potatoes - 1 cup
  3. Ajwain - 1/4 tspn
  4. Haldi - 1/4 tspn
  5. Red chilli powder - 1/4 tspn
  6. Kasuri methi - 1 /2 tspn
  7. Coriander leaves / chutney- 1/2 tspn
  8. Cooked dal - 1 tspn
  9. Salt
  10. Oil
  11. Water

Instructions

  1. MASH BOILED POTATOES.
  2. ADD WHEAT FLOUR
  3. ADD HALDI, AJWAIN
  4. RED CHILLI POWDER, SALT
  5. CORIANDER LEAVES/ DHANIYA KI CHUTNEY
  6. I ADDED SOME LEFT OVER COOKED DAL
  7. MIX PROPERLY BY ADDING LITTLE WATER
  8. IN THE END, ADD FEW DROPS OF OIL
  9. LEAVE IT FOR 10 TO 15 MIN BY COVERING
  10. MAKE SMALL BALLS WITH THE AATA
  11. WITH THE HELP OF SOME OIL, FLATTEN IT
  12. NOW ROLL IT IN FORM OF PURIS
  13. HEAT OIL, AND DEEP FRY THEM
