  3. To Fry:-

  5. Shallots-6

  7. Ginger -a piece
  8. Cinnamon-1
  9. Cloves -2
  10. Corriander & Mint leaves-1/2 bunch (each)
  11. Green chillies-4
  12. To prepare:-
  13. Ghee -1Tbspn
  14. cinnamon-2
  15. Cloves -2
  16. Bay leaf -2
  17. Onions-1
  18. Tomatoes-2
  19. Chilli powder-1tsp
  20. Corriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
  21. Biriyani powder-1tsp
  22. Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  23. Curd -2tsp
  24. Salt -to taste

Instructions

  1. FRY WITH A TSP OF GHEE, ADD SHALLOTS(7),GREEN CHILLIES (4), CINNAMON,CLOVES,GINGER(A PC), GARLIC (5)
  2. MEANWHILE SOAK BASUMATHI RICE ONE CUP WITH TWO CUPS OF WATER FOR 1/2 HR .TAKE & KEEP ALL INGREDIENTS
  3. ADD TO THE FRY CORRIANDER & MINT LEAVES ,
  4. GRIND IT WITH TOMATOES (2) & KEEP IT ASIDE.
  5. IN A PRESSURE COOKER ADD GHEE (1 TBSPN),BAY LEAF, CINNAMON,CLOVES ...FRY IT
  6. THEN ADD CHOPPED ONIONS (1), CURRY LEAVES .... NICELY FRY IT .
  7. NOW ADD RED CHILLI POWDER(1TSP), CORRIANDER POWDER(2TSP), BIRIYANI MASALA (1TSP),CURD,GRINDED MASALA
  8. ADD A SINGLE CARDAMOM-1,TURMERIC POWDER1/4TSPG ,SALT & NICELY COOK IT TILL THE RAW SMELL GOES
  9. NOW ADD TGE SOAKED BASUMATHI RICE IN WATER (RATIO 1:2)....IN IT & LEAVE FOR 2-3 WHISTLES.
  10. IN JUST 15 MINS ,NICE AROMATIC VEG BIRIYANI IN FIVE STAR STYLE READY TO SERVE (GOOD COMB WITH RAITA)
