Peynirli cicek pogasa or Turkish Flower cheese bread is a beautiful looking ,soft , moist and savoury bread . It is stuffed with potato , mint leaves and feta cheese . I have seen this recipe in " Gayathri's cookspot " and fell in love with this cute looking bread. This are so yummy , perfect for kids.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. All purpose flour 1 3/4 cup
  2. Salt 1/3 tea spoon
  3. Sugar 2 table spoon
  4. Instant dry yeast 1 tea spoon
  5. LukeWarm Milk 1/3 cup + 2 table spoon
  6. Water 1/3 cup
  7. Melted butter 1 table spoon
  8. White sesame seeds 2 table spoon
  9. For stuffing :
  10. Paneer 1/2 cup
  11. Fried potato and carrot 1 /2 cup
  12. Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Feta cheese 2 table spoon
  15. Mint leaves 1 table spoon chopped
  16. Oil canola or sunflower 2_3 table spoon

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1+ 3/4 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR , 2 TABLE SPOON SUGAR IN A BIG AND DEEP BOWL
  2. ADD 1/3 TEA SPOON SALT AND 1 TEA SPOON INSTANT DRY YEAST
  3. ADD 1/3 CUP LUKEWARM WATER AND MIX
  4. ADD 1/3 CUP LUKEWARM MILK
  5. KNEAD WELL , IT WILL BE STICKY
  6. ADD 1 TABLE SPOON MELTED BUTTER , KNEAD AGAIN
  7. KNEAD FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES IN A FLOURED SURFACE UNTIL NONSTICKY AND SPONGY
  8. PUT THE DOUGH IN A OILED BOWL AND COVER WITH A CLING WRAP. KEEP ASIDE IN A WARM PLACE FOR 1 _1.5 HRS
  9. HEAT 1 TSP OIL IN A NONSTICK PAN
  10. ADD 1/2 CUP CRUMBLED PANEER , SAUTE LIGHTLY
  11. ADD SALT AS PER YOUR TASTE , ADD ANY LEFTOVER VEGETABLES OR FRIED POTATO 1/2 CUP
  12. ADD 1/3 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER MASH THE STUFFING LITTLE BIT
  13. ADD 1 TABLE SPOON CHOPPED MINT LEAVES , SWITCH OFF GAS
  14. ADD 2 TABLE SPOON OF CRUMBLED FETA CHEESE , MIX WELL , KEEP ASIDE
  15. TAKE THE PUFFED DOUGH PRESS IT AND KNEAD AGAIN
  16. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 8 EQUAL PARTS
  17. MAKE 8 EQUAL SIZED BALLS
  18. PRESS AND FLATTEN EACH BALL
  19. ADD THE STUFFING AND SEAL IT PROPERLY
  20. MAKE 6 SHARP CUTS ON THE EDGES , KEEPING THE CENTER INTACT
  21. TWIST EACH PETAL TO 90 DEGREES
  22. SPRINKLE SOME (2 TABLE SPOON ) WHITE SESAME SEEDS
  23. BRUSH WITH MILK ( 2 TABLE SPOON )
  24. BAKE THEM IN 200 DEGREES PREHEATED OVEN FOR 20-25 MINUTES OR UNTIL THEY TURN GOLDEN IN COLOUR
  25. AFTER 20 MINUTE THE BEAUTIFUL TURKISH CHEESE FLOWER BUNS ARE READY
