Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Buckwheat flour
  2. 1 tbsp corn flour
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 60g soft unsalted butter
  5. Baking soda 1/8 tsp
  6. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  8. 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  9. 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. SIEVE FLOURS, COCOA POWDER, BAKING POWDER BAKING SODA AND SALT IN A BOWL. KEEP IT ASIDE
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 180, LINE CAKE TIN
  3. BLEND SUGAR AND BUTTER IN A BOWL UNTIL CREAMY
  4. ADD EGGS, 1 AT A TIME AND BLEND UNTIL PALE AND FROTHY
  5. GRADUALLY ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX UNTIL WELL COMBINED
  6. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED CAKE TIN AND TAP GENTLY
  7. BAKE FOR 18-25 MINUTES UNTIL DONE
  8. COOL FOR 20 MINUTES IN PAN. DEMOULD CAKE AND COOL ON WIRE RACK COMPLETELY
  9. SERVE AS IS OR FROST AND SERVE
