ABOUT Stuffed Pumpkin Buns RECIPE

Pumpkin spiced Cream cheese buns are too adorable to look at. These buns with just enough sweetness and rich cream cheese centers make an attractive yet appetizing treat for any cozy coffee evening. With Halloween round the corner these are definetely worthy giving a try.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups : All purpose flour
  2. 3 tbsp : Dark brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp : Pumpkin spice
  4. 1 tsp : Instant yeast
  5. 2 tbsp : Butter
  6. 1 tsp : Salt
  7. 1/2 cup : Canned Pumpkin puree
  8. 1/2 Cup : Warm Water
  9. 2 tsp : Oil
  10. 1/2 Cup : Soft Cream Cheese
  11. Twine thread as needed
  12. For Garnish : 8 : Pecan quarter's
  13. Few Green leaves of choice

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS FLOUR, 3 TBSP BROWN SUGAR, 1 TSP PUMPKIN SPICE, 2 TBSP BUTTER, 1 TSP YEAST
  2. MIX UNTIL CRUMBLY
  3. ADD 1 TSP SALT, MIX IN
  4. ADD 1/2 CUP CANNED / FRESH PUMPKIN PUREE, MIX
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP WARM WATER IN INTERVALS, KNEAD INTO A SOFT, NON-STICKY DOUGH
  6. PLACE THE READY DOUGH ON A WORK-TOP, ROLL & KNEAD FOR 5 MINS UNTIL SMOOTH
  7. ONCE DONE, SHAPE INTO A BALL LIKE THIS
  8. PLACE THE DOUGH IN AN OIL-GREASED BOWL, PAT IN TO FLATTEN IT OUT
  9. BRUSH THE DOUGH WITH A LITTLE OIL, COVER & SET ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR
  10. AFTER IT DOUBLES UP, PUNCH & KNOCK OUT THE AIR ON A WORK-TOP
  11. FLATTEN THE DOUGH INTO A THICK DISC, CUT OUT 8 EQUAL PORTIONS
  12. TAKE EACH PORTION, TUCK IN FROM THE CORNERS LIKE THIS, ROLL INTO A TIGHT BALL
  13. TAKE A DOUGH BALL, FLATTEN IT OUT, KEEPING THE EDGES THINNER THAN THE CENTRE
  14. PLACE 1 TBSP SOFT CREAM CHEESE IN THE CENTRE, BRING THE EDGES TOGETHER, PRESS FIRMLY TO SEAL
  15. ROLL & SHAPE INTO A SMOOTH BALL AGAIN
  16. PLACE THE STUFFED PUMPKIN ROLL AT THE CENTRE OF A STRING, TIE A KNOT IN THE MIDDLE
  17. WRAP THE STRING AROUND THE BALL & SECURE THE KNOT LIKE THIS
  18. SEE HOW CUTE THE PUMPKIN LOOKS, GET ALL THE STUFFED BALLS READY, PLACE ON A LINED BAKING TRAY
  19. COVER & ALLOW THEM RISE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE UNTIL DOUBLE IN SIZE
  20. WHILE STILL HOT, GENEROUSLY BRUSH THE READY STUFFED PUMPKIN BUNS WITH MELTED BUTTER
  21. NOW CAREFULLY SNAP OFF & REMOVE THE STRING
  22. FIX A PECAN QUARTER AND A LEAF IN THE CENTRE OF EACH BUN
