ABOUT RICE FLOUR FRESH PASTA RECIPE

This recipe is ideal foe breakfast and is diffrent from regular pasta

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup rice flour
  2. 2 tbsp tapioca starch or cornflour
  3. 1 tsp oil + 1 tbsp for brushing
  4. salt to taste
  5. water as required to make thin batter
  6. 1 tbsp butter
  7. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  8. 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  9. Few basil leaves
  10. 2 tbsp.finely chopped spring onion green
  11. 2 tbsp grated processed cheese (optional)
  12. Slat if requored

Instructions

  1. KEEP ALL THE INGREDIENTS READY
  2. IN A BOWL ADD RICE FLOUR,TAPIOCA STARCH (SABU DANA FLOUR),SALT AND OIL.
  3. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS AND THEN ADD WATER AND MIX WELL
  4. MIX WELL TILL SMOOTH SMOOTH BATTER IS FORMED
  5. POUR WATER ON A SIEVE TO GET RID IF ANY LUMPS IF ANY
  6. NOW ON A DOUBLE BOILER PLACE A GREASED NON STICK PAN AND POUR BATTER IN IT. SWIRL TO SPREAD ALL OVER THE PAN
  7. COOK FOR ATLEAST 7 MINUTES
  8. IT WILL START LEAVING SIDES OF PAN FLIP AND COOK FOR FEW MINUTES ON OTHER SIDE
  9. FLIP IT ON A GREASED CHIPPING BOARD AND CUT IN STRIPS
  10. LET IT DRY ON DIL PAY FOR AT LEAST 30 MINS
  11. NOW ADD BUTTER TO SAME PAN. TO THIS ADD CUT CHERRY TOMATOES, MIXED HERBS AND CHILLI FLAKES
  12. COOK FOR 2 MINS
  13. THEN ADD RICE STRIPS GENTLY
  14. TOSS IT IN PAN SO THAT EVERYTHING MIXES WELL
  15. ADD BASIL LEAVES CHOPPED SPRING ONION GREEN AND CHEESE AND SWITCH OFF FLAME
