ABOUT Aloo chaat RECIPE

Aloo chaat is a simple and easy recipe that can be made during navratri fasting or any other fasting or even on regular days also.This will be little spicy and tangy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 medium sized potatoes
  2. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  3. 1 tsp chaat masala
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp dry mango powder
  6. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  7. 1/2 tsp rock salt
  8. Water for boiling the potatoes
  9. A few coriander and mint leaves(chopped 1 tbsp)
  10. Peanut Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. PARBOIL THE POTATOES IN A PRESSURE COOKER IN WATER
  2. ONCE THE POTATOES BECOME WARM OR COOL,START PEELING THE SKIN
  3. PEEL THE SKIN
  4. DICE THEM
  5. ADD DICED POTATOES TO OIL TO FRY
  6. KEEP FRYING
  7. FRY TILL THEY TURN LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN COLOUR
  8. DRAIN ON KITCHEN PAPER NAPKINS
  9. ADD ALL THE SPICES ,LEMON JUICE TO IT
  10. GIVE A MIX OR TOSS THEM WELL
  11. ALOO CHAAT IS READY TO SERVE
