ABOUT Vrat Special Aloo Chaat RECIPE

Aloo chaat is a simple and easy recipe that can be made during navratri fasting or any other fasting or even on regular days also.This will be little spicy and tangy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 medium sized potatoes
  2. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  3. 1 tsp chaat masala
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp dry mango powder
  6. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  7. 1/2 tsp rock salt
  8. Water for boiling the potatoes
  9. A few coriander and mint leaves(chopped 1 tbsp)
  10. peanut Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. DEEP FRY 2 BOILED, PEELED & DICED POTATOES IN HOT OIL
  2. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP, DRAIN ON TISSUE PAPER
  3. ADD 1 TSP LEMON JUICE & THE DRY MASALA POWDERS, ROCK SALT / SENDHA NAMAK TO TASTE
  4. ADD A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH MINT & CORIANDER, MIX WELL
  5. ALOO CHAAT, SERVE IMMEDIATELY
