  1. Water chestnut (Singhara) ka aata - 1 cup
  2. Milk - 1 cup
  3. Water -2 cup
  4. Ghee - 2 tspn
  5. Sugar -3/4 Cup
  6. Elaichi powder - 1/2 tspn

Instructions

  1. HEAT GHEE IN A PAN
  2. ADD SINGHARA KA AATA AND SAUTE
  3. KEEP ON STIRRING ON MEDIUM FLAME
  4. ONCE IT STARTS TURNING BROWN, LOW THE FLAME
  5. SWITCH OFF THE FLAME, ONCE IT HAS TURNED BROWN, DONT OVER COOK
  6. IN A BOWL, TAKE COLD MILK, WATER AND SUGAR
  7. NOW START ADDING THE SAUTEED AATA SLOWLY
  8. KEEP ON MIXING TO AVOID LUMPS
  9. FINALLY, MIX ALL THE AATA YO FORM A PASTE
  10. ADD ELAICHI POWDER
  11. HEAT PAN AGAIN, ADD THIS PASTE
  12. KEEP ON STIRRING ON LOW FLAME, TILL IT THICKENS
  13. IN THE END, ADD GHEE AND SWITCH OFF
