ABOUT Bhindi aloo ka bhujiya RECIPE

Both vegetables are very easy to cook together. It does not require onion garlic and can be made in navratras.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Lady's finger - 250 gms
  2. potatoes - 2 medium
  3. Ghee/oil - 3 tspn
  4. cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
  5. Green chilli - 1
  6. Rock salt
  7. haldi - 1/2 tspn
  8. chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  9. pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
  10. Aamchur powder - 1/2 tspn

Instructions

  1. HEAT GHEE/OIL , ADD CUMIN SEEDS AND GREEN CHILLI
  2. ONCE THEY SPLUTTER, ADD CHOPPED BHINDI
  3. SAUTE FOR 1 MIN, ADD POTATOES
  4. SAUTE THEM ON HIGH FLAME TO AVOID THE STRANDS OF BHINDI
  5. NOW ADD HALDI, CHILLI POWDER AND COOK FOR 3 MIN BY COVERING
  6. ADD ROCK SALT, COOK ON LOW FLAME FOR 5 MIN
  7. MIX WELL COOK THEM BY COVERING AND KEEP CHECKING
  8. ADD PEPPER POWDER
  9. ADD AAMCHUR POWDER
  10. MIX AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 5 MIN WITHOUT COVERING
