Sabudana Kheer is a healthy food in Navratri virat.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. sabudana - 1/2 Cup
  2. Milk - 4 Cups
  3. Vermicelli- ( fried in ghee) 1/4 Cup
  4. Sugar- 4 Tbsps
  5. cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  6. saffron 9 Strands
  7. Cashew,Pistachio nuts,Walnuts- 4 Tbsps

Instructions

  1. SABUDANA KHEER ! BY RAMANI THIAGARAJAN !
  2. Take Sabudana wash and soak in water for 2 hours.
  3. Soak saffron in warm water and pour in soaked Sabudana.
  4. Pour hot water.
  5. Take vermicelli roasted in ghee. Add saffron and hot milk.And cook.
  6. Add cardamom powder to the cooked Sabudana mixture.
  7. In a saucepan heat ghee.Add cashews.
  8. Add pistachios and fry in the ghee.
  9. Fry the nuts until golden brown.
  10. Add sugar with the cardamom powder.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Add fried cashews,pistachio nuts.
  13. Garnish with saffron strands,pistachios,walnuts and serve hot or cold.
