Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Par Boiled Green Peas 2 cups
  2. Water used for boiling peas 1 glass
  3. Cooking oil 3 tablespoons
  4. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. Red Chilli Powder 1.5 teaspoon
  6. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Himalayan Pink salt as preferred
  8. Ginger crushed 1 teaspoon
  9. Whole Black pepper 5 crushed
  10. Cilantros for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat 3 tablespoons cooking oil in a pan .
  2. Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds . Allow to crackle.
  3. Simmer the flame .Add 1.5 teaspoon red chili powder . Give a quick mix .
  4. Add 2 cups parboiled green peas along with a glass of water used for boiling peas .
  5. Add required pink salt .
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder .
  7. Add 1 teaspoon crushed ginger , crushed 5 whole black pepper . Cover and cook until masala infuses
  8. well . Uncover and Dry roast the peas until there is no moisture left and peas appear roasted .
  9. Garnish with cilantros . Vratwale Dry Matar is ready . Serve hot with Falhari Pooris.
