Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Mangalore cucumber 1
  2. Ivy gourd 1/4 kg
  3. Water
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Sambar powder 2 tsp
  6. Tamarind lemon sized
  7. Curry leaves 1 string
  8. Coconut gratings 1/2 cup
  9. Cooking oil 1/2 tsp
  10. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  11. Red chilli 1/2

Instructions

  1. REMOVE THE PEEL OF MANGALOREA CUCUMBER
  2. CUT INTO HALVES, REMOVE INNER CORE AND SEEDS
  3. CHOP INTO SMALL CHUNKS
  4. WASH AND CHOP IVY GOURD
  5. PRESSURE COOK FOR A WHISTLE LEMON SIZED TAMARIND SOAKED WATER, SALT AND CHOPPED VEGGIES
  6. ADD COCONUT, SAMBAR POWDER IN MIXER JAR
  7. ADD WATER AND GRIND UNTIL SMOOTH
  8. KEEP READY SEASONING OF MUSTARD SEEDS AND RED CHILLI WITH 1/2 TSP OF COOKING OIL
  9. TRANSFER COOKED VEGGIES INTO A VESSEL
  10. ADD GROUND MASALA PASTE WITH SUFFICIENT WATER
  11. WHILE BOILING FINELY ADD SEASONING AND CURRY LEAVES, TAKE OFF FLAME AND SERVE
