Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Arbi/colcassia 5-6 boiled
  2. curd 1 bowl
  3. Cumin-1 tsp
  4. coriander -1 tsp
  5. saunf /fennel -1 tsp
  6. Asafotedia - pinch
  7. Rock salt 1 tsp
  8. Dry red chilli whole 2
  9. mustard oil/ghee 1 tbsp
  10. Black cardamom 2
  11. cloves 3-4
  12. Watet 1 cup
  13. turmeric powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP MUSTARD OIL, ADD 2-3 DRY RED CHILLIES
  2. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF CUMIN, FENNEL & CORIANDER POWDER, 4 CLOVES, 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA, 2 BLACK CARDAMOMS
  3. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF SALT & TURMERIC POWDER
  4. ADD 1 CUP CURD, MIX WELL, COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 20 MINS
  5. COOK UNTIL THE OIL FLOATS ON TOP LIKE THIS
  6. TAKE 5-6 BOILED, PEELED COLCASSIA
  7. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  8. ADD IT TO THE CURD GRAVY, MIX
  9. ADD 1 CUP WATER, SIMMER UNTIL THICK
  10. GARNISH WITH CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE HOT WITH ROTI / PARANTHA / POORI
