Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. White channa 2 cups
  2. Coriander 2 tablespoons
  3. White sesmi seeds 2 teaspoon
  4. Dry red chilly 4
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Greated coconut 2 tablespoons
  7. 2 teaspoon of oil
  8. 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  9. Few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. ADD 2 CUPS SOAKED & DRAINED CHICKPEAS, SALT & SOME WATER TO A PRESSURE COOKER
  2. MIX WELL & PRESSURE COOK UPTO 3 WHISTLES, SET ASIDE
  3. ADD 2 TSP SESAME SEEDS, 2 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS TO A NONSTICK PAN
  4. ADD 2-3 DRY RED CHILLIES, ROAST FOR 3-4 MINS ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  5. ALLOW THE ROASTED SPICES TO COOL, ADD TO A MIXER JAR, ADD SOME WATER
  6. BLEND TO MAKE THE MASALA
  7. HEAT 2 TSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, 2 DRY RED CHILLIES, A FEW CURRY LEAVES
  8. ADD THE GROUND MASALA, SAUTE FOR A FEW SECONDS
  9. ADD THE BOILED & DRAINED CHICKPEAS, MIX IN
  10. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  11. ADD 2 TBSP GRATED FRESH COCONUT, MIX WELL & TAKE OFF HEAT
  12. THE MASALA CHANA IS READY
  13. SERVE WARM
