ABOUT ALMOND HALWA RECIPE

ALMOND HALWA is the CROWN JEWEL of all Sweets !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. almond 1/2 Cup (90 grams)
  2. sugar 1/2 Cup (100 grams)
  3. ghee 1/3 Cup (70 grams)
  4. saffron 4 pinches
  5. cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Chopped Nuts little to decorate

Instructions

  1. ALMOND HALWA ! BY RAMANI THIAGARAJAN !
  2. Take 1/2 Cup (90 grams) Almond soaked in hot water and blanched ! Ghee 1/3 Cup ( 70 grams)
  3. Take 1/2 Cup (100 grams) Sugar and 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder !
  4. Take 2 Pinch Saffron soaked in warm water !
  5. Grind Almond in a Mixie jar coarsely ! Add Saffron soaked water !
  6. In a saucepan add ground almond,Little Ghee and Sugar !
  7. Mix well !
  8. Add some Ghee and cook !
  9. Stir all to gather !
  10. Add some Ghee and cook!
  11. Add Cardamom Powder !
  12. Stir and cook until lumping !
  13. Cook over low heat !
  14. Take a tiny portion and form in to a ball !
  15. If it forms a soft ball not sticky then it is done !
  16. Decorate and serve warm !
  17. ALMOND HALWA THE CROWN JEWEL OF ALL SWEETS IS HERE !
